What we look at, and why.

When you buy a report, you're hiring us to go look at your business the way a prospective customer would. Through Google Search, through your Google Business Profile, through AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude, and through your own website. We use automated tools to gather the same publicly available information any customer could find, and we pay licensed data providers (SerpAPI) and AI platforms (Anthropic, OpenAI) to help us analyze it at speed.

We do not scrape anything behind a login. We do not buy data about you from brokers. We do not sell, rent, or share what you give us on the intake form. The point of this product is to tell you what the internet already says about your business, not to add to what it says.

Information you give us

When you submit the intake form, we collect: your business name, industry, service-area ZIP codes, website URL, business email address, phone number (optional), and a short description of your primary challenge (optional). We use this to run your report and to send you the report when it's ready.

Information we collect on your behalf

To build your report, automated agents run on our servers:

• Search your business and industry on Google via SerpAPI.
• Query Google Places for your Google Business Profile, if you have one.
• Crawl your website, if you provided one, via Firecrawl.
• Send anonymized queries to AI assistants (OpenAI GPT-4o, Anthropic Claude) to observe how they recommend businesses in your category.
• Synthesize findings via Anthropic Claude into the report PDF.

None of these external services receive your intake-form contact details (email, phone). They receive only what's necessary to perform the research, using the same publicly-observable information a customer searching for your business would see.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment step: stripe.com/privacy.

Retention

We retain intake data and the rendered report for up to 24 months to support refund requests, quarterly re-diagnostic comparisons (if you subscribe to QRS), and quality review of our own process. You can request deletion at any time; see "Your rights" below.

Cookies

The public site uses a minimum set of cookies: a session cookie that persists your intake progress across page reloads, and Stripe's own cookies during checkout. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. The admin surface (which you will not encounter as a customer) uses an authentication cookie set server-side.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of any inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your intake data and rendered report.
• Withdraw from quarterly re-diagnostic processing (applies only to subscribers) without affecting the report you already received.

Children

AI Playbook is sold to business owners. It is not directed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will notify anyone who has purchased a report in the preceding 12 months by email. Non-material updates will be reflected here with a new effective date.
